Wood - processing

 
Part of the round timber and softwood round timber are being processed in the sawmill in Saldus, Kuldīgas Street 86a, with the area of 5, 4 ha. 50000 cubic meters saw log are being processed per year, with 14 cm diameter and more, length from 4,2 up to 5.4 meters.   
After being sawed off, sawn timber are sawed, dimensioned and sorted by quality and transverse section according to the British Standards for Building BS 4978 : 1996. The greatest part (approximately 76 %) of the production is being sold to Great Britain, part - to France and the Netherlands.
